Das Jako Quartett ist das neue Projekt des in Berlin lebenden griechischen Gitarristen Iakovos „Jako“ Symeonidis. Die Band spielt Eigenkompositionen von Symeonidis und Stücke aus seinem Debütalbum „Safe Place“, zusammen mit Songs aus der Jazztradition und Arrangements aus Funk und Soul. Im Mai 2025 nimmt die Band ein neues Album auf. Bei diesem Konzert wird Lionel Haas als Special Guest auftreten.

The Jako Quartet is the new project of Berlin-based Greek guitarist Iakovos ‚Jako‘ Symeonidis. The band performs original compositions by Symeonidis and pieces from his debut album, ‚Safe Place,‘ along with songs from the jazz tradition and arrangements from funk and soul. The band is recording a new album in May 2025.For this concert Lionel Haas will play as a special guest.
