Mit Time is Glass sind Six Organs of Admittance einmal mehr in das verschlungene Gewirr der Griffbretter eingefangen, die sich in den offenen Himmel darüber erheben. Wie Streulicht, das die Lautsprecher durchschneidet; Spinnweben, die die Windschutzscheibe zerreißen, die all die heranstürmende Realität zurückhält. Den Staub wegblasen, einen neuen Weg der Erkenntnis bahnen. Wie es immer versucht wird….
Nach 20 Jahren des Unterwegsseins an verschiedenen Orten waren Six Organs of Admittance nach Hause in Humboldt County zurückgekehrt – für manche ein fernes Land, aber immer noch Teil der Welt, durch die sich Kreaturen aller Art bewegen und zu der sie beitragen. Und einige von ihnen sind Menschen. Sie sind allein und bilden eine Verbindung und einen Austausch aus Gedanken und Ausdruck – nicht anders als die Menschen auf der anderen Seite des Redwood Curtain. Dort, wo Six Organs vor langer Zeit entstanden war, im Namen des Kreislaufs, der Kreise, die sich konzentrisch drehen und ungebrochen bleiben, wurde die neue Musik erdacht.

After 20 years of living on the road in different places, Six Organs of Admittance had returned home to Humboldt County — a far country, to some, but still part of the world through which creatures of all kinds are moving through and contributing to. And some of them are human. Alone together—forming connection and exchange out of thought and expression—no different from the people on the other side of the Redwood Curtain. It was there, where Six Organs had long ago emerged, in the name of everything cycling, of circles that spiral concentrically and remain unbroken, the new music was conceived.
