June Yun legt ihr Debut vor und weiß in nahezu allen Facetten und Ansätzen zu überzeugen vor allem vor dem Hintergrund der eigenen Herangehensweise – sie stellt ihre Absicht zu musizieren in den Vordergrund als Methode, sich zu bewegen, zu reizen, zu motivieren und zu äußern – ohne Musik kein Zugang zur eigenen Position, erst durch Musik wirst du, wer du bist – soweit zum selbstbezüglichen Blick.
Nun lässt dieser Blick sich erst überprüfen im Zusammenspiel mit anderen, da erst entsteht Synergie, die über die eigene Energie hinausweist: Musik ist nicht nur Medium zur Selbstprophezeiung, sondern handelt von der kommunikativen Stärke, der Einordnung und vom Abgleich. June Yuns Stimme will nicht wetteifern mit ausgefallenen Stimmen des Jazzgesangs, stellt sich vielmehr als gleichwertiges Instrument vor. Das gelingt ausgesprochen ausgetüftelt, klug und interessant, du spürst, wie sie sich aufeinander zubewegen und wie stark diese Bezüge über June Yuns Kompostitionen aufeinander abgestimmt wirken.
