Connection between poetry and music
The connection between poetry and music is for Tzimon Barto of utmost importance and meaning, both as a pianist and in his writings. Der internationale Durchbruch erfolgte Mitte der 1980er Jahre, als Tzimon Barto auf Einladung Herbert von Karajans im Wiener Musikverein und bei den Salzburger Festspielen auftrat. Seither ist Tzimon Barto mit beinahe allen international bekannten Orchestern aufgetreten, den großen amerikanischen Orchestern wie z.B. New York, Cleveland, Chicago, Washington, Boston und San Francisco aber auch mit namhaften Orchestern wie dem Mariinsky Orchester, den Berliner Philharmonikern, den Bamberger Symphonikern, der Staatskapelle Dresden, dem NDR Sinfonieorchester, dem Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, den Münchner Philharmonikern, den Wiener Symphonikern, dem London Philharmonic Orchestra, dem Orchestre de Paris, dem ONE Madrid und dem NHK Symphonieorchester Tokio.
Tzimon Barto’s international breakthrough came in the mid-1980s when he was invited by Herbert von Karajan to perform at the Vienna Musikverein and the Salzburg Festival. Since then, Tzimon Barto has performed with almost all internationally renowned orchestras, the major American orchestras such as New York, Cleveland, Chicago, Washington, Boston and San Francisco, but also with renowned orchestras such as the Mariinsky Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the NDR Symphony Orchestra, the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, the Munich Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, the ONE Madrid and the NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo.
