Daryl Taylor ist ein amerikanischer Bassist und Komponist, der für seine vielseitigen Beiträge zur Jazz-, Funk- und Soulmusik bekannt ist. Er wuchs in Houston, Texas, auf und kam schon früh durch das Nachtcafé seiner Familie mit Blues, Jazz und R&B in Berührung, was seinen musikalischen Werdegang maßgeblich beeinflusste.
