Hellen Weiß, geboren in Hamburg, konzertierte im In- und Ausland mit namhaften Orchestern wie dem Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, den Hamburger Symphonikern, dem Collegium Musicum Basel, dem Orchestra San Marco Pordenone und dem North Czech Philharmonic in bedeutenden Konzertsälen wie der Berliner Philharmonie, der Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, der Bremer Glocke, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Berwaldhallen Stockholm, Stadtcasino Basel und dem Rudolfinum Prag.
2020 wurde ihre gemeinsame CD mit Gabriel Schwabe beim Label NAXOS für den Opus Klassik nominiert und gewann den Pizzicato Supersonic Award. 2023 erscheint ihre neue CD mit Werken von Strauss und Dohnányi beim Label CPO.
Gabriel Schwabe hat drei der renommiertesten Cello-Wettbewerbe der Welt gewonnen: den Grand Prix Emanuel Feuermann in Berlin, den Concours Rostropovich in Paris und den Pierre Fournier Award in London.

Hellen Weiß, born in Hamburg, has performed at home and abroad with renowned orchestras such as the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Collegium Musicum Basel, the Orchestra San Marco Pordenone and the North Czech Philharmonic in major concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Bremen Glocke, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Berwaldhallen Stockholm, Stadtcasino Basel and the Rudolfinum Prague.
