HOWIE REEVE (Glasgow)
Unconventionally structured songs on acoustic bass that plough their own furrow in order to try and navigate the world we live in – tender, explosive, running a gamut of emotions – vulnerable, oblique, generous, human.
I remember on the first listen being struck by its angular post-punk explosions of noise, but when I came back to it, and still every time I’ve listened to it since (now countless times), it’s the delicacy and beauty woven throughout that more and more shapes the album for me.

Ich erinnere mich, dass mich beim ersten Hören die kantigen Post-Punk-Explosionen von Lärm beeindruckt haben, aber als ich mich erneut damit befasste und auch jedes Mal, wenn ich es seitdem gehört habe (mittlerweile unzählige Male), sind es die Feinheit und Schönheit, die das Album für mich immer mehr prägen.

Lianne Hall
Lianne Hall is a Berlin based singer, writer and producer from the UK. Adventures along the way include touring the squats of Europe with UK feminist punk band Witchknot in the 90s and receiving an excellent grounding in DIY creativity and community. In 1999, while living in a bus in Bradford UK, she appeared on a TV show with legendary radio DJ John Peel who went on to champion her work in four Peel sessions and called her one of the great English voices.
Lianne Hall ist eine in Berlin lebende Sängerin, Autorin und Produzentin aus Großbritannien. Zu ihren Abenteuern zählen eine Tournee durch die Squats Europas mit der britischen feministischen Punkband Witchknot in den 90er Jahren und eine hervorragende Ausbildung in DIY-Kreativität und Gemeinschaft. 1999, während sie in einem Bus in Bradford, Großbritannien, lebte, trat sie in einer Fernsehsendung mit dem legendären Radio-DJ John Peel auf, der sich in vier Peel-Sessions für ihre Arbeit einsetzte und sie als eine der großartigen englischen Stimmen bezeichnete.
