Paul Feise saxophone

Paul Feise ist ein in Berlin lebender Saxophonist und Klarinettist, der aktiv zur lebendigen Jazzszene der Stadt beiträgt. Geboren 1997, begann er seine musikalische Reise im Alter von fünf Jahren mit dem Klavier und entdeckte vier Jahre später seine Leidenschaft für das Saxophon. Sein frühes Eintauchen in die vielfältige Berliner Session-Szene förderte seine Fähigkeiten in Improvisation und Bühnenpräsenz. Feises musikalische Ausbildung umfasst einen Saxophonunterricht an der Dow Academy of Music in Tansania und ein Studium der Musikpädagogik in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, wo er Mitglied des Landesjugendjazzorchesters MV wurde. Seit 2019 studiert er Saxophon am Jazz-Institut Berlin und trat bereits in renommierten Häusern wie A-Trane, B-flat und ZigZag auf. (lma-nrw.de)

Feise ist Mitglied des Jazz-Ensembles Round Square, neben Charlotte Joerges, Paul Engelmann, Yannic Rösch-Pasitka, Pelle Buschmann und Mason Davis. Neben seiner Konzerttätigkeit engagiert sich Feise in Bildungsinitiativen, leitet Projekte für die Landesmusikakademie NRW und unterrichtet Ensembles und Bigbands an Musik- und Oberschulen in Berlin.

Paul Feise is a Berlin-based saxophonist and clarinetist actively contributing to the city’s vibrant jazz scene. Born in 1997, he began his musical journey with piano at age five and discovered his passion for the saxophone four years later. His early immersion in Berlin’s diverse session scene fostered his skills in improvisation and stage presence. Feise’s musical education includes teaching saxophone at the Dow Academy of Music in Tanzania and studying music education in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, where he joined the Landesjugendjazzorchester MV.
