Pina Berlin ist das Soloprojekt der in Berlin lebenden Singer-Songwriterin Pinar Tatlikazan, die in Bursa/Türkei geboren wurde, in Istanbul aufgewachsen ist und seit 2010 in Berlin lebt und arbeitet. Sie begann ihre Gesangsausbildung mit klassischem Gesang in Istanbul und studierte bei etablierten Jazzmusikern aus Berlin, Istanbul und Massachusetts. Pina Berlin beschreibt ihre Musik als Motivational-Folk-Rock, der Einflüsse aus Rock, Folk, Pop, Jazz, brasilianischer Musik und orientalischen Rhythmen vereint. Kürzlich beendete sie die Release-Tour ihres Debütalbums, das von Initiative Musik finanziert wurde, und erhielt Nominierungen für den besten Adult-Contemporary-Song bei den ISC, das beste Video bei den PBIMA mit ihrer Debütsingle I’ll be Missing You und das beste Video für ARFF mit Im Süden/Güneyde.

Pina Berlin is the solo-project of the Berlin based singer-songwriter Pinar Tatlikazan, who was born in Bursa/Turkey, was shaped in Istanbul and has been living and growing in Berlin since 2010. She started her vocal education with classical singing in Istanbul and has studied with established jazz musicians from Berlin, Istanbul, and Massachusetts. Introducing her music as Motivational-Folk-Rock, it bares influences ranging from rock, folk, pop, jazz, Brazilian music, to oriental rhythms. She recently finished the release tour of her debut album funded by Initiative Musik and received nominations for the best adult contemporary song at ISC, best video at PBIMA with her debut single “I’ll be Missing You” and best video for ARFF with „Im Süden/Güneyde“.
