Ronny Graupe ist seit Mitte der 90er Jahre im Inland und weltweit zu hören und ist ein fester Bestandteil der lebendigen Berliner Jazz Szene. In vielen Jahren des Arbeitens mit dem Trio Gropper/Graupe/Lillinger, sowie in seinem, zunächst im Trio, seit 2018 im Quartett erscheinenden Ensemble Ronny Graupes Spoom entwickelte er seine eigene Sprache auf der Gitarre und als Komponist. Er veröffentlichte über ein dutzend Alben als Leader/Co-Leader und zahlreiche als Sideman. 2011 wurde Graupe als Dozent an die Hochschule der Künste in Bern, Schweiz für Jazzguitar und Ensemblespiel berufen. 

Ronny Graupe has been playing nationally and internationally since the mid-1990s and is an integral part of the vibrant Berlin jazz scene. In many years of working with the trio Gropper/Graupe/Lillinger, as well as in his ensemble Ronny Graupes Spoom, appearing first as a trio and since 2018 as a quartet, he developed his own language on the guitar and as a composer. He has released over a dozen albums as a leader/co-leader and numerous as a sideman. In 2011 Graupe was appointed as a lecturer at the University of the Arts in Bern, Switzerland for jazz guitar and ensemble playing.
