Walt Weiskopf ist ein US-amerikanischer Saxophonist, der von der Kritik gefeierte Alben und unzählige Sideman-Credits vorweisen kann. Er begann seine Karriere im Alter von 21 Jahren in der Buddy Rich Band. Unter anderem mit seinem Bruder, dem ebenfalls äußerst versierten Pianisten Joel Weiskopf nahm er mehrere Alben als Leader auf, darunter auch für Criss Cross Records. In seiner Karriere hat er mehr als 20 CDs mit den besten zeitgenössischen Jazzmusikern veröffentlicht, darunter Brad Mehldau, John Pattituci, Joe Magnarelli, Renee Rosnes, Joe Locke, Conrad Herwig, Peter Zak, Billy Drummond und Peter Washington. Auch wirkte er an Ausnahmen von Steely Dan mit.

Walt Weiskopf is an American saxophonist who has critically acclaimed albums and countless sideman credits to his name. He began his career at the age of 21 in the Buddy Rich Band.
