Christian Sands (*1989) bekam ab vier Jahren Klavierunterricht und schrieb mit fünf Jahren erste eigene Kompositionen. Christian Sands (*1989) began piano lessons at the age of four and wrote his first compositions at the age of five. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Manhattan School of Music, during which time Billy Taylor was his mentor. In 2003, he released his debut album Footprints (Stanza), which he recorded in a trio with Jeff Fuller and Jesse Hameen. Since the early 2010s, he has been a member of Christian McBride’s trio and his quintet Inside Straight.

Max Light is a guitarist based in Brooklyn, NY. He won 2nd place in the 2019 Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz International Guitar Competition, judged by Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Lionel Loueke etc. His sophomore recording as a leader, “Henceforth” was released June 15 2023 on Steeplechase Records.

Jonathon S. Muir-Cotton  is a multi-award winning young, up and coming double bassist and bassist trained in both the jazz and classical traditions; playing many genres including jazz, funk, gospel, blues, R&B and neo-soul. Under the mentorship and tutelage of great Detroit bassists like Marion Hayden, Robert Hurst, Rick Robinson, Rodney Whitaker, and Ralphe Armstrong, Jonathon is working towards making his own mark in the music world.

Hailing from Orange, CT/New Haven County, Ryan Sands has worked his way to becoming one of the top young drummers in his field. Ryan’s recording credits include Christian Sands’ Risin’, Christmas Stories, and his upcoming record in 2024. Altus’ Riot Cycles and Mythos. As a bandleader Ryan released his debut record, Standing On the Edge of Tomorrow.
