2023 veröffentlicht Christoph Stiefel das erste Album seines neuen Quintetts “Christoph Stiefel Full Tree”. Die neue Band repräsentiert vieles aus Stiefels bisherigem Schaffen gleichzeitig: Die orchestrale Erweiterung der jahrelangen Konzept-Arbeit mit dem Inner Language Trio, sowie das Übertragen der Erfahrungen im C.S.Septet auf die kleinst mögliche und gleichzeitig in der Reduktion maximale orchestrale Einheit – ein Quintet mit Rhythmsection, piano und 2 Bläsern: Alles ist möglich von minimal bis orchestral, und trotzdem bleibt die Band ein überschaubarer, intimer Organismus mit viel Freiheit und Interplay.

In 2023, Christoph Stiefel will release the first album of his new quintet “Christoph Stiefel Full Tree”. The new band represents much of Stiefel’s previous work at the same time: the orchestral expansion of years of conceptual work with the Inner Language Trio, as well as the transfer of the experiences in the C.S.Septet to the smallest possible and at the same time maximum orchestral unit – a quintet with rhythm section, piano and 2 wind instruments: Everything is possible, from minimal to orchestral, and yet the band remains a manageable, intimate organism with plenty of freedom and interplay.
