Drummer/Composer/Clarinetist/Producer Andrea Marcelli was born in Rome and resides in Berlin since 2001. He lived in Los Angeles from ’89 to ’97 and then in New York until 2001. He has successfully performed extensively on 5 continents. Over 200 of his compositions have been recorded and two of them are included in “The European Real Book” and “The Digital Real Book part two” by Shermusic

Tobias Relenberg, born in 64, comes from a family influenced by classical music. He initially played various instruments such as guitar, drums, violin and piano until he discovered the saxophone and jazz at the age of 17. This was followed by his first appearances in jazz rock and mainstream bands and in the free jazz scene around Ekkehard Jost in the Giessen area.

Born in Munich, Tino Derado studied at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston and at the New York „New School for Music“, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1995. During his 13-year stay in the USA, Tino Derado became a sought-after member of the jazz and Latin scene and played concerts with, among others with Gary Burton, Peter Erskine, Bob Moses, Randy Brecker, Bill Evans, Paul Winter, Dave Liebman, Jimmy Cliff, Frank Gambale, Jamey Haddad, Chiara Civello, Richard Bona, Matthew Garrison, Joe Chambers, Nils Langren, Jojo Meyer, Papo Vasquez, Orlando Marin Y Su Orchestra, Andy Gonzales, Adam Nussbaum and Fred Hersch.

Peter Nitsch studied double bass and bass guitar at the Nuremberg University of Music, at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA) and with a full scholarship at the renowned Manhattan School of Music in New York. With two bachelor degrees and one master’s degree in his pocket, after a two-year stay in New York, having had lessons with greats like Dave Liebman, Phil Markowitz and Matt Garrison, he was drawn to the next big metropolis, São Paulo (Brazil). There he was living for another five years in order to acquire, after classical music, jazz, Indian music, the subtleties of Brazilian music.

Charles Sammons is an American instrumentalist, composer, and instructor world renowned for his innovative techniques and approach. Equally at home behind the double bass, electric bass, and cello, Sammons pushes the outer boundaries of the idiom and the instruments while retaining firm footing in tradition. A consummate collaborator, Sammons has been featured on dozens of recordings from jazz through electronica, rock through pop. As a performer and sideman, Sammons has played and toured with a host of the worlds most excellent artists including members Parliament Funkadelic and touring in support of the Indigo Girls.

Rainer Hess is a jazz saxophonist and studied in Würzburg with Leszek Zadlo, he deals with traditional and free improvisation.
