Roz Macdonald is a double bass player from Scotland who currently lives in Berlin and Hamburg. She performs regularly on both scenes in a variety of different line ups and often elsewhere in Germany and Europe, as a sidewoman and with her own projects. In 2022 she released her debut album ‚Make Do‘ with her own trio in Berlin and has since been composing and preparing to record a second album this year.

Roz Macdonald ist eine Kontrabassistin aus Schottland, die derzeit in Berlin und Hamburg lebt. In beiden Szenen tritt sie regelmäßig in unterschiedlichen Besetzungen und oft auch anderswo in Deutschland und Europa auf, als Sidewoman und mit eigenen Projekten. Im Jahr 2022 veröffentlichte sie ihr Debütalbum ‚Make Do‘ mit ihrem eigenen Trio in Berlin und hat seitdem komponiert und sich darauf vorbereitet, dieses Jahr ein zweites Album aufzunehmen.
