Nehmen wir den Titel wörtlich: Black Holes Are Hard to find – Schwarze Löcher sind schwer zu finden: Schwarze Löcher: da geht es um Gravitation, um das Verschwinden von Materie und Licht. Raum und Zeit lösen sich auf, Schwarze Löcher lassen sich kaum beobachten, nicht ausfindig machen, strenggenommen: sie finden alles außerhalb ihres Schwarzseins, ihres Nichts, ihrer Eigenschaftslosigkeit und saugen es auf –

Nehmen wir den Titel wörtlich, so verschwinden wir selbst im schwarzen Loch – ein Paradox, näher dich nicht dem, was dich erübrigt und doch ist die Faszination für dies Jenseits eine unüberwindbare Stärke dessen – oder ist das nur Theorie? Welch universales Missverständnis, dass vom ich-zentrischen Blick des Menschen ausgeht auf etwas, was unbekannt ist.

Wag dich also nicht zu weit hinaus? Im übertragenen Sinn: Frank Paul Schubert bewegt sich, Aussage der Website von SCHUBERT UCHIHASHI KUGEL: in den extremeren Gefilden des Freejazz – auf der Website heißt es auch: er hält seine potenziellen Free-Jazz-Exzesse unter Kontrolle und entwickelt vielmehr seine mikrotonalen und mehrstimmigen Fähigkeiten – dabei bewahrt er den Schubert-Sound und seine Identität.

Von Kazuhisa Uchihashi, auf dieser Aufnahme ausschließlich mit der Gitarre aktiv, erfahren wir, dass er auch Daxophon spielt: eine Entwicklung von Hans Reichel – es handelt sich dabei um ein Holzbrettchen, dass mithilfe eines Bass- oder Cello-Bogens und eines Klötzchens zum Klingen gebracht wird: Demo-Tape Youtube. Der eigentümliche Klang des Daxophons scheint nun gitarrenadaptiert auf Internal Structure durchzuschimmern, die Soundcollage allein auf der Gitarre ist ein Vielstimmenkonzert – zurück zum Schwarzen Loch: was wir hier hören, ist alles andere als vom Nichts aufgesaugt zu werden, mehr ein Zustand davor, ein letztes Aufbäumen, ein kraftvolles und letztlich verzweifeltes Bemühen, oder ist auch das Spekulation?

Klaus Kugel am Schlagzeug – kein Unbekannter – allein hier (Kugel Website) gibt es eine Auswahl an über 60 Aufnahmen – auch in dieser Aufnahme, kurz vor dem so schwer zu findenden Schwarzen Loch, dreht er am Klang- Raum- und Feldteppich, gibt jeder Wendung eine Richtung, wartet, setzt an, erklingt, sägt, schweigt, spricht, akzentuiert, treibt, und füllt aus – am besten zu hören in Additional Rendevouz.

Gehst du nun vor einem Schwarzen Loch davon aus, dass Schwarze Löcher aus sich selbst heraus alles mitnehmen, was ihnen zu nahe kommt – da wir nicht wissen, ob das Theorie, Experiment (des Universums an sich) oder Spekulation (über das Universum) ist – es trotzdem Mythen, Legenden und Erzählungen um dieses menschlich so besehene Nichts gibt, braucht es weitere Erzählungen, Darstellungen und in diesem Fall Innenohrwahrnehmungen dieses Mysteriums, dieses Weltraumparadoxons – warum erst etwas entsteht, wenn es vergeht – ja, da braucht es einiges an Phantasie und Kreation, dem zu widerstehen. Es ist so Hard das Schwarze Loch zu finden.

Umgedeutet hieße es. Es ist noch schwerer, dem zu entsprechen oder zu folgen, offenbar aber gibt es Möglichkeiten, ihm zu antworten.

Supersonic Interaction gibt eine dieser Möglichkeiten mit: interaktiv, gestikulierend, leise, laut, atmosphärisch dicht … by the way – wer mit Freejazz nicht zurechtkommt – klar, so mal eben nebenbei lässt sich das nicht mitnehmen: aber wer sich darauf einlässt – ist ziemlich hin und weg – so, als näherte sich nicht ein schwarzes Loch, sondern eröffne sich das größtmögliche Repertoire menschlicher wie saxophoner wie gitarrengesteuerter und schlagzeugtechnischer Fähigkeit – eine faszinierende Reise am Vakuum oder einem bedrohlichen Nichts vorbei.

Let’s take the title literally: Black Holes Are Hard to Find: Black holes: they are about gravity, about the disappearance of matter and light. Space and time dissolve, black holes are hard to observe, hard to find, strictly speaking: they find everything outside their blackness, their nothingness, their featurelessness and suck it up -.

If we take the title literally, we ourselves disappear in the black hole – a paradox, don’t get closer to that which makes you redundant and yet the fascination for this beyond is an insurmountable strength of it – or is that only theory? What universal misunderstanding that starts from the ego-centric view of man on something that is unknown.

So don’t venture too far out? In the figurative sense: Frank Paul Schubert essentially contributes to the group compositions through the control of its potential free-jazz excesses, and, rather, the development of its microtonal and multi-phonic capabilities – retaining the Schubert sound and identity in the processin.

From Kazuhisa Uchihashi, on this recording exclusively active with the guitar, we learn that he also plays the daxophone: a development of Hans Reichel – it is a small wooden board that is made to sound with the help of a bass or cello bow and a block: Demo tape Youtube.
