ERNST SURBERG is a pianist, composer, and improviser known for his intensive engagement with new music. In 1997, he co-founded the ensemble mosaik. He also wrote the music for numerous plays, including The Last Great Auk, wozuwozuwozu, The Mansion at the South Pole, and Gabe Gift with Anna Viebrock as well as Waiting for Godot (Thomas Dannemann) and von Morgen until midnight (Christiane Pohle).
