Lucía Martínez Solo @ Kühlspot

Lucía Martínez begann im Alter von neun Jahren ein Studium der traditionellen Percussion und Drehleier, an der Volkshochschule von Vigo, wo sie in Kontakt mit Musikern aus der Folklore und der mündlichen Überlieferung kam. 1998 machte sie das Abschluss-Diplom in klassischer Orchester-Perkussion und die Solistenprüfung in Klassischer Perkussion in der Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. 2005 beendete sie das Bachelor-Studium in klassischer Perkussion am Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Vigo, 2004/05 praktizierte sie beim Orchester Real Filarmonía de Galicia. Sie hat an klassischem Perkussionsunterricht teilgenommen und viele Konzerte mit dem Orchester gespielt.

Lucía Martínez began studying traditional percussion and hurdy-gurdy at the age of nine, at the Popular High School of Vigo, where she came into contact with musicians from folklore and oral tradition. In 1998, she took the Graduate Diploma in Classical Orchestral Percussion and the Soloist Examination in Classical Percussion at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. In 2005 she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Percussion at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Vigo, and in 2004/05 she practised with the Real Filarmonía de Galicia Orchestra. She has participated in classical percussion classes and played many concerts with the orchestra.
