Dialogues with poems by Emily Brontë (England, 1818-1848), Alejandra Pizarnik (Argentina, 1936-1972), Anne Carson (Canada, 1950) and Robin Myers (USA, 1987) give rise to different compositional forms and structures for Luciana Morelli, along which she sets her performance in order to go deep into the history of jazz and folk music forms, her native Argentina also shines through; she now lives and works in Switzerland and shows in a haunting and comprehensible way how music and poetry come together, in a varied and atmospheric way, creating great challenges for the participants, which they drive forward in excellent coordination with each other – a great jazz opera emerges. In Antelmo to his Daughter, the focus of the overall narrative is broken down into chamber music: the coming to terms with everything when I am old and all the beauty of the early years seems wasted …
