Text B-Flat: Der schwedische Pianist gilt als einer der spannendsten europäischen Jazzmusiker. In vielerlei Hinsicht erinnert er an das legendäre Trio e.s.t., nicht zuletzt durch sein Album „Fusion for Fish“, für das seine Band als „Swedish Radio Jazz Group of the Year 2014“ ausgezeichnet wurde und die „Golden Disc 2015“ des schwedischen Jazz-Magazins OJ sowie den schwedischen Jazz Grammy 2015 gewann. Im November 2020 brachte Karlsson sein sechstes Album „Fuse Number Eleven“ bei Playground Music Scandinavia heraus. Dieses wurde 2021 von der Internetplattform All About Jazz zum Jazzalbum der Woche gekürt.

It is finally time for the Daniel Karlsson Trio to make their album debut.

In many ways he is reminiscent of the legendary trio e.s.t., not least through his album „Fusion for Fish“, for which his band was named „Swedish Radio Jazz Group of the Year 2014“ and won the „Golden Disc 2015“ from the Swedish jazz magazine OJ as well as the Swedish Jazz Grammy 2015. In November 2020, Karlsson released his sixth album „Fuse Number Eleven“ on Playground Music Scandinavia. This was named jazz album of the week in 2021 by the internet platform All About Jazz.
